Easy rental experience. Located just around the corner from the ferry, but the shuttle picked us up from the ferry and dropped us off after. They allow parking if available in their lot.

This car rental company is the best on STJ! I have used them in the past and never had issues. This trip, we rented a car on STT to save on taxi and ferry cost.Our car broke down from the STT rental and the company treated us terribly. I called courtesy car and the had me in a car in less than a half an hour. We thought we had lost our last three days of vacation due to a bad car rental company on STT.Thanks again for being so great Courtesy Car rental. I look forward to renting from you again!

Our second time using Courtesy Jeep Rental. Great experience, quick with email communication, very friendly staff, low milage and clean jeep, courtesy shuttle to and from the dock. Looking forward to renting from Courtesy again.

Great place to rent from. They picked us up right from the ferry. It was in a great location. We were able to park at the rental spot when going into town.

FIVE STARS to Courtesy Car and Jeep Rental, located just three blocks from the ferry docks, on the island of St. John, US Virgin Islands. Our trip would not have been nearly as memorable—or successful—without them. When visiting St. John, having a solid transportation plan is essential to truly enjoy the island. There is so much to see, the terrain is challenging, and many roads are narrow and require careful navigation. Your vehicle must be reliable, maneuverable, and capable of handling steep grades and rough conditions. We honestly couldn’t have done it without our 2025 Jeep from Courtesy Car and Jeep Rental. The staff was outstanding—helping with ferry transport, baggage handling and storage—and the vehicle was clean, dependable, and perfectly suited to the island. Many thanks to the entire Courtesy Car and Jeep Rental team. P.S. I have a new appreciation for the JEEP brand—an amazing vehicle both on challenging terrain and on the highway.

Great jeep and awesome customer service. We left some items behind in the car after returning it and they went out of their way to get the items back to us. Jeep was in good shape, shuttle service to pick up and drop off vehicle.

Great folks to rent from.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in St. John at the end of February 2025. We rented a 2-door Jeep Wrangler from Courtesy. The vehicle was well maintained and clean. The friendly staff gave us helpful advice prior to getting on the ferry in St. Thomas and picked us up at the ferry dock in St. John. The business allows their renters to park in their lot. This is handy, since parking is competitive in Cruz Bay. We will definitely rent from them on our next visit.

It was our first time visiting St. John’s and we were not sure what to expect when renting a Jeep. Courtesy Car & Jeep Rental was very prompt in their communication and checked in with us when we arrived at St. Thomas after their usual closing time. They made sure to have someone come and pick us up in a nice van right at the dock as we got off the ferry. They quickly processed our paperwork and got us set up with a very nice 2dr Jeep. The Jeep was in excellent shape and allowed us to explore the entire island during our trip. We plan to use Courtesy Car & Jeep Rental on our next trip and we’ll recommend them to anyone who is visit St. John.

First time on USVI. Jeep is a must to explore the island. We rented for a week, process was very simple. The picked up and dropped off at the ferry very promptly. Excellent service!!
